September 3, 2007 First, I must tell you that I was very active since many months performing at differents western festivals, bars, fair and flea markets around Quebec and Canada. Of course my trick horse Trigger is offen with me. Also, I am still doing fast gun tricks and still performing with my bull whip. Just like my past western heros, Lash Larue and Whip Wilson. Of course, I still sing alot of my own western songs during my public performances. Ordinary I am doing one or two shows each week, and beleive me, it is alot of fun doing this after so many years.
During the month of August, I have appeared at eleven western activities. It was so great for me, an old cowboy and performer of now seventy-three years, to be on the stage after all this time. The sale of my last two CDs are going very well and I am working at the present time on two new CDs that will be released around February 2008.
I will appear in the near future on many radio shows and in a fews TV show. by the way, I want to thank all of you that visit my western web site offen and for all your nice emails and letters, also many new pictures has been added at the botton of this present page, in connections with my public performances of last year and this year(2007).
Until next time, Many Happy Trails and keep the western and country music alive. Your old western performer and web master, Tex Lavallee
Hello my friends and fans! It is April 25, 2006. Hope all of you had a pleasant Easter holiday and pray that you all celebrated the resurrection of our Lord.
I have been very busy! I continue to play my music at "Chickee-Dee's Restuarant & Bar" in Hempingford, from 4:00PM to 9:00PM on Sundays.
To update you all on the CD. I have a big surprise for you all. Instead of one CD, there are two CD's I'm working on. One is English, E-T-L 3021-st; the other one is French, E-T-L 3020-st. The CD's will be ready for a May 10th release with some new songs; including my own composition of the story of "Kid" my horse, who was my faithful companion and friend. Also I'll do my rendition of "Crazy Arms,". The French CD will have those songs, plus 8 others. They'll be many songs of my own compositions. They'll be 10 songs on both CD's. I have alot of wonderful musicians who have helped me out on these two CD's. I think you all will enjoy all the songs. It's been a labor of love that I do it for my friends and my fans.
I am having a drawing! All of you that have emailed me or have sign my guest book, will have their email addresses put in a basket. I will have 10 emails drawn out of the basket, and they will be the winners of my new English CD or my French CD and an 8x10 photograph of Trigger and Me autographed. Good luck to all of you!
My horse Trigger is doing well. He's ready to get back out there and perform for you all at the events this season. We practice his many tricks and still he don't mess up. He sends kisses to all his fans, and will see you soon.
Thank you all for visiting my website. I appreciate it very much! Thanks for all your letters, cards and emails.
That's all for now. Salutations to all. You're Western Performer & Entertainer, Tex Lavallee.

Hello friends and fans! Today is March 7, 2006. It's been such a long time since I wrote in my journal. So sorry! Hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years's holiday.
For me, I have been very busy! I continue to play music about two times a week, and I'm still playing every Sunday afternoon from 4:30PM to 9:00PM at the Chicky-Dee Restuarant and bar in Hemmingford Quebec. We have such a great time playing for the western music fan each Sunday.
Also, I've started working at the present on my new CD which I hope will be released in middle of May 2006. I will keep you all updated on the progress. I am excited about it! Keep your fingers crossed that it will be ready for sure by middle of May! Now concerning my health. I am doing pretty good, but I got to take it easy just the same. I will have a birthday this comming summer and I'll be 72.
Also, 'My Trigger' is doing just fine! I go visit him at the farm where he's boarded about 2 - 3 times a week. He's had a pleasant winter, but it was real cold up here, I am reserved for some shows with Trigger during the summer and fall of 2006. Hope some of you will get a chance to come and visit with us this year.
Thank all of you that visit my webite and send me many emails. I try to answer all of you. That's all for now my friends! I will try and do better at writing here in my journal more often. Salutations to all of you! Your Canadian Cowboy and Western Performer, Tex Lavallee.

Hello Friends and Fans!! It is with great pleasure that tonight, November 25, 2005, I decided to write in my journal, to give you a lot of information about my activity in my western field. First I must say, that I was very active this past summer and fall, making a lot of publics performances alone, and sometimes with my trick horse Trigger. Beleive me, it was a lot of fun for me to be back on the stage once again, and in some shows I got the pleasure to talk with some western fans of mine once again. after 56 years; remembering some of my early public performances.
Now concerning the sale of my CD, I must say that I have just a few more copies available, and I am very happy of the sale results. Copies where sold over the internet to many different parts of Canada and USA. So thanks to all of you, for your good support!
For your information, I'm now working on the selection of my new material for my next CD, which I will start to record in the beginning of January 2006.
Now concerning my music performances; I still play and perform every weekend one or two times, here around Quebec. Always, a lot of western and country fans come to see us!
Yes, many of you that visit my web site, ask me a lot of questions about my horse Trigger. I must say that he is in top condition at 16 years, and I'm teaching him from time to time, somes new tricks in preparation of his next year's public performances. I'm already booked with him for 2006. The public loves him a lot beleive me!
For your information, I will do my very best in the next few weeks, to write more articles in the differents sections of this present web site for your complete satisfaction. So many happy trails to all of you. Your old western and country performer, Tex Lavallee.

Howdy Friends! Tonight is September 25, 2005. My show at the Havelock Fair September 10, 2005 was a big succes! The crowds fall in love with my Trigger because he was great all day long. They also liked my musical show including my best western and country songs, plus my gun spinning attraction, bull whip and lasso act.I will say that near 2000 people were present that day. It was a great day for me, beleive me! During my musical show my piano player, Maurice Prieur was with me, plus a great guy Ken Sutton, playing the electronic bass with me. Ken was also in charge of the sound system in connection with the differents musical bands. I must also specify that my friend 'The Sherrif', Mr. Rene Amyotte was also present with me at the fair during my different shows. Many others musical bands were present on the fair grounds; like "Bobby Hill and Friends" with their bluegrass music; including Jacques Lavallee at the banjo. Also the western entertainer Ken Sutton also performed. The "Lavallee Familly", a western and country band, including Gerry Giroux fiddler, Robin Daoust at the lead guitar, Bud Lavallee at the flat top guitar, Jeannine Giroux Lavallee as singer, and Jacques Lavallee at the five string banjo. Present in the music building, the "Franklin Ensemble", playing great gospel music and songs. I must specify that the great Canadian Western and Country band, "The Black and White's" were also present in one other part of the fair grounds. In a few words, it was a big succes in every way! The fair manager asked me to be part of next year's fair in 2006. Thank you all for all your emails. I'll answer them all soon! Well Pardners, that's all for now. So long from your old Western Performer. Many Happy Trails, Tex Lavallee.

Hello Friends! Tonight is September 8, 2005. So sorry for not writing in my journal for some time. I've been very busy. It is my pleasure to report I will be at Havelock Fairgrounds September 10, 2005 to perform and sing. My palimino horse Trigger will be along and perform many tricks. I'll have my guns and whip and I'll do gun spinning tricks and do whip tricks for you. The times I'll be there and perform is 2:00pm and 4:00pm. I'll sing some of my compositions included in my new CD; plus other songs. Many other western singers and performers will be there. Hope some of you in my area will be there to see my Trigger and me perform! I performed at the Rockburn Antique Show August 27, 2005, and it was much fun as always. I enjoy doing the public performances and seeing old friends. I sold many CDs and I sing many songs for everyone. I was at Elgin, Quebec on August 2, 2005. My friends Leslie Donnelly and Roger Mc Donald were there and performed with me. We had much fun playing and singing music together once again. We have so much fun when we play togther! Hello Freinds! Tonight is June 25 2005. It is with a lot of pleasure that I bring you some news about my musical activity. First, I must say that my health is a lot better since about a month, after having received some special treatments.
The sale of my new CD is going well. The first pressing is sold out, and I received a fews days ago a new CD lot, which is still avalable by mail order. A big thanks to all of you that already have purchased my CD through this web site or during some of my public performances. Now concerning my activity. I got the pleasure to make over ten western shows and it was great once again to meet western and country music fans. Again yesterday, June 24, 2005, I have made one big public performance in the main street of my town, with my palomino trick horse Trigger.
Believe me, it was something special! Trigger was very popular on his first show. Many pictures were taken, and in the very near future, I will include in this web site, some of them. Also, next week on July 2, 2005, I will be near Rockburn Quebec for a western festival for which I will sing somes of my compositions included in my new CD. You will be able to see on the present web site, some parts of it for your pleasures. Also, I want to thank Dan (Daniel Betournay), for his great help in connection of the production of my new CD. He was the musical director and the recording engineer. Dan is a great musician in big demand in the south of Quebec. He is a one man show, beleive me! Western fans, that's all for tonight! Many Happy Trails to all of you. Your performer, Tex Lavallee.
Hello Freinds! Today the 23rd of February 2005. I have completed my new western and country CD, The master tape is ready for pressing.
