Pardner was a great stallion saddle horse, and champion in his time. He was a little son of LEO, the great stallion of Bud Warren of Perry, Oklahoma, USA. It was a sad day when they came to pick him up. I remember the same day he came near me and by his look at me, he seemed to know that I already sold him. But I was very sure he would be in good hands with his original owner.

I was with no horse. At the ranch were my stallion Pardner was kept, the owners had a few horses and one of them was a palomino (now called Trigger). I asked Jos and Collette if he was for sell and they said for you Tex, we will sell him. So I bought him on the spot, because I was sure that he had good disposition. I was right and we became pals.

Many of you asked me for more information about were he came. He was breed by a good horse breeder near Montreal, Quebec, Canada and his sire was a palomino stallion named Diamond, a very nice horse. At a young age he was sold to one other horseman. This fellow had him castrated at around two years and Trigger was kept on his farm. But for some reason his new owner was not able to do anything with him, so he was left alone a part of the other horses. Trigger became hard to handle. One day he was purchased by Collette Jaguet and Joseph Lemieux, my friends. They began to train him and took good care of him. They did well and performed with him on competitions with success. They kept Trigger on their ranch near St. Chrysostome, Quebec Canada until I purchased him.

Trigger is now 19 years old and in top shape. As soon I purchased him, I decided to show him some tricks. After two years of training he's now doing over 25 good tricks. He is a very smart horse and he's a very funny one too.
